One of the Florida Keys most popular performers, and a good friend of The Grateful Guitar, Joal Rush, has just recorded some songs up in Nashville, and is using this opportunity to help send some of the proceeds to help the victims of hurricane Irma. Please read his message below, make sure you listen to his songs, and give where you can.

Hello everyone,

I’m excited to announce that my new single “Lesson I’ll Never Learn” is now available for download! I’m so happy to finally be able to share new music with you all! I wrote this one with fellow songwriter/good friend John Gurney, and it’s become one of my favorites from the album. Long time friend Tommy Carnes(producer/studio & mix engineer) myself, & some super talented musicians collaborated on this single, and the entire Kaleidoscope Emotions album, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out!

The date was set for this single release before we had any clue that Hurricane Irma would wreak havoc on the state of Florida. As many of you know, I spend a good deal of time performing in the Florida Keys & the people who live there are like family to me.

The Keys community is a strong one, and they will continue to rebuild & recover from this catastrophic event, but THEY NEED OUR HELP!!! That’s why we’ve teamed up with the nonprofit organization, Evacuees of the Keys, and are going to be donating half of the proceeds from download sales to Irma relief. Just go to joalrush.bandcamp.com to make your donation. Also, be sure to check out evacueesofthekeys.org, to find out how you can get more involved in helping out:)
I hope you enjoy the track!!
